The 1982 NASCAR Winston Cup season was the 34th season of professional stock car racing in the United States and the 11th modern-era Cup series. The season began on February 14 At the Riverside International Raceway and concluded on November 21 at Ontario Motor Speedway.

It is also the first year that all NASCAR Winston Cup Races were broadcasted on Television starting this year and also the final season for Winston being the title sponsor for this Cup Series, Coca-Cola will step in beginning in 1983.
