The 1993 MLB Season is the 93rd Season for Major League Baseball

Another 8 Team Expansion

Major League Baseball will now expand to add 8 More Teams for the 1993 Season for a total of 56 Teams (28 in each league), The American League took advantage to add a 2nd team in the Los Angeles Area which will be based in Anaheim, CA called the Anaheim Amigos giving MLB 3 Teams in the Los Angeles Area, The Amigos will be joining the AL West in addition the American League expanded to Ottawa, ON (Lynx) to the AL East, Indianapolis, IN (Rounders) to the AL Central and Monterrey, Mexico (Bandits) to the AL South

In the National League they've added a 2nd team in Boston, MA (Beacons) to the NL East in addition the National League expanded to Omaha, NE (Royals) to the NL Central, Havana, Cuba (Hurrricanes) to the NL South and Phoenix, AZ (Diamondbacks) to the NL West.
