Creighton Colton Cat is an American funny animal cartoon character in the Ludicrous Limericks series, created by Gerald Jankowski. History

While creating Ludicrous Limericks, Jankowski wanted to create a villain for Darrell and Dorothy, and came up with a tuxedo cat for the design. The feline character was named Creighton which, as Jankowski stated, "was the most pretentious name (he) could think of".

For the voice, Jankowski decided on actor Pinto Colvig, who used a maniacal, almost French-sounding accent. After his death in 1967, Larry Storch of F-Troop fame has assumed the role ever since. Beginning in 2001, Eric Bauza has also been hired as Storch's understudy, alternating with him in many projects; it is expected that, when Storch fully retires or passes, Bauza will assume the role full-time.

Creighton's original concept art from 1925.
