Fett: A Star Wars Story is a 2018 American space opera film directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Tim Johnson and George Lucas, and released by 20th Century Fox. It stars Temuera Morrison, Simon Pegg, Josh Duhamel, Craig Roberts, Tim Curry, Florence Pugh, Keira Knightley, and Stacee Myers. The film follows Boba Fett's escape from the Sarlaac and subsequent entanglements with the New Republic and Imperial Remnant.
The film was released in Hollywood on December 14, 2018, and began its international rollout ten days later. It received praise from critics and audiences alike and became the number one film at the box office just days after its release. It made over $1 billion in the worldwide box office.
Plot
The film begins at the scene in Return of the Jedi in which Han shoots Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison, helmet voice provided by Eli Nelson), who falls to the Sarlaac pit. After a few attempts, Boba successfully escapes with the help of fellow bounty hunter Dengar (Simon Pegg), and decides to law low elsewhere to avoid being caught by the Rebels. They go to the Mos Espa spaceport, where they come across a man named Clin Tuk (Josh Duhamel), who runs a local cantina. Fett and Dengar go to the cantina, and meet the Tonnika sisters, Brea (Florence Pugh) and Senni (Stacee Myers). When they spot a group of Rebels, Fett and Dengar come up with a plan.
