The inauguration of Sheldon Johnson, Jr. as the 46th president of the United States marked the commencement of the four-year term of Sheldon Johnson, Jr. as president and Kamala Harris as vice president. A public ceremony was held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, on the West Front of the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. The event was the 59th presidential inauguration.
