Indiana Jones and the Five Crowns is an upcoming 2021 American action-adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Tim Johnson and George Lucas and the fifth and final installment in the Indiana Jones series. It will star Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf, Jürgen Prochnow, and Kirsten Dunst. The plot, set in 1968, will follow Indiana Jones coming out of retirement after discovering about the five crowns from the Holy Bible, and he must find them in various places while evading a group of thieves who are planning on finding the crowns first and melting them to make money.
Originally going to be released on August 7, 2020, the film was pushed back to August 13, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be the first Indiana Jones film released since Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008 (not counting its 2018 Ultimate Edition reissue).
Plot
Indiana Jones comes out of retirement when he finds out about the five crowns from the Holy Bible; unbeknownst to him, a group of thieves have also found out, and plan to find them to melt them down for money.
