Press Your Luck (Jayverse)
Press Your Luck is an American television game show created by Bill Carruthers and Jan McCormack. It premiered on UBC daytime on September 19, 1983 to January 3, 1986 as the show moved to first run syndication from UBC Television Studios since January 6, 1986 and is still on since. In the show, contestants collected spins by answering trivia questions and then used the spins on an 18-space game board to win cash and prizes. The contestant in the Syndicated Weekday Version who amassed the highest total in cash and prizes kept their winnings for the day and became the returning champion. The contestant on the UBC Primetime version who amassed the highest total in cash and prizes kept their winnings for the day and played a bonus round for as much as $1 million.
