Sonic X-treme (2021 video game) (Johnsonverse)

Sonic X-treme is an upcoming 2021 action-adventure game developed by Sonic Team and Sega Technical Institute and published by Sega. Inspired by and based on the canceled Sega Saturn game of the same name, the game will feature Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Tiara Boobowski as playable characters.

Development recommenced when Johnson Industries acquired Sega Sammy Holdings on July 31, 2019. It will be released on August 8, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PC, Macintosh, and Mandatum.
