The United Broadcating Corporation started in February 1957 after the DuMont Television Network folded on August 6, 1956 giving WGN in Chicago, IL to start to run their own Network later on Former Dumont Affilates KTTV in Los Angeles and WNEW in New York, NY owned by Metromedia joined to create this new network along with Some Stations owned by Westinghouse & Cox.
