Simpsonverse explaination

Just a side project. I’m still going to make contributions to the Johnsonverse every now and then. Yes it’s inspired by the Johnsonverse. I’ve had this idea for a couple years now, even before you came into my radar, even though your concept came first. The pages will be styled more like Wikipedia articles than articles written by the company (and no politics either). Basic info about myself: In the TL, I’m named Trevor Jason Simpson, born on December 31, 1949, and I’m a media mogul, host, and actor. There I bought NASCAR in 1992 and debuted a new car for the 2000 season. It’s similar to your SSC, but called the Car of Tomorrow (of course it’s not the same as the real life CoT). I may need help with team tables though. (Trevor807 (talk) 01:06, 27 May 2019 (UTC))

Hey so...

Why did you unsubscribe from Griffin Spier? Is it because you felt you were promised something he couldn’t deliver? Is it because you felt his NR2003 content was the only content of his worth watching? Or is it that you felt betrayed? (Trevor807 (talk) 16:52, 4 June 2019 (PDT))

On a side note

This is what the Car of Tomorrow looks like in the Simpsonverse. What do you think? The paint scheme is the one Griff created for What if Dale is Still Alive? just cause I prefer it to the real one. Besides Dale Sr would be alive in the Simpsonverse due to the CoT’s introduction in 2000 and the requirement of the HANS device being instated after Greg Moore’s fatal CART crash the previous year. 253B62C1-2068-48E3-9BC5-29D7AA4A40AF.jpeg

Also I plan on getting the results on NR2003.

Explanation

I edited a picture of Dale Jr.'s COT from 2007. Hence the roof.

Also

Do you stand with #KickVic or #IStandWithVic? I’m curious.

Plus, I plan on simulating the results in the Simpsonverse on NR2003. (Trevor807 (talk) 20:25, 6 June 2019 (PDT))

NASCAR Cup Series logo from 2004 to 2016.png

What do you think of it? The Cup Series font is a nod to the 2002 Winston Cup logo. Trevor807 (talk) 13:07, 19 June 2019 (PDT)

Question about Lend-Lease

How did you come up with it and why? Saying that because it’s a pretty cool idea.

Trevor807 (talk) 15:39, 11 July 2019 (PDT)

Eight Bells

Do you think it could’ve made a great racing theme? I say this because I made it the NASCAR on MGM theme.

Hartman’s divorce

How messy was it? Insults? Brynn’s counter-accusations?

Trevor807 (talk) 17:11, 7 September 2019 (PDT)

And another thing

How would you do Looney Tunes in the Johnsonverse? For my Simpsonverse, Looney Tunes was revived as a series of theatrical shorts in 1982, and is currently ongoing, with the first new short consisting of Bugs Bunny bugging Cool Cat, Space Jam 2 is directed by Simpson, The Bugs Bunny-Road Runner Show became The Bugs Bunny-Daffy-Duck-Road Runner Show in 1985, and was expanded to include pre-August 1948 and 1982-2000 shorts as well, its intro sequence still uses “This is It”, being updated in 1983 and 1992 like in OTL, and 2019 (after Bugs introduces the Road Runner, for a split-second you can see an audience composed entirely of rabbits as a nod to Bugs and Daffy’s Carnival of the Animals, and Lola, Petunia and Tina are added to the lineup, and Speedy’s still there due to his cartoons never being banned, and in the credits you can see the orchestra playing the music, with the conductor based on Milt Franklyn), The Looney Tunes Show lasts until 2017, New Looney Tunes is still going today, Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain are still on today, with Rita and Runt replaced by Plucky Duck in 1998 (Eric Bauza voices the character after Joe Alaskey’s 2016 death), etc. Plus, Noel Blanc voices all the male Tunes in Space Jam since Warner Bros. is bought by MGM/UA Communications, with the MGM/UA byline inheriting the Warner Communications font, and he agrees on a contract.

Some news

Christina Miller is leaving WarnerMedia. Notable since a lot of CN fans (yourself included) harbor that huge contempt for Miller.

https://deadline.com/2019/11/christina-miller-exit-president-of-warner-medias-cartoon-network-adult-swim-boomerang-tcm-1202796279/amp/

Trevor807 (talk) 19:24, 27 November 2019 (PST)

Let’s hope whoever replaces Miller doesn’t make decisions that draw the ire of those fans I mentioned. Best case scenario: CN is brought back to glory.

Trevor807 (talk) 19:42, 27 November 2019 (PST)

Out of curiosity

So how did Tim Johnson react to Margaret Thatcher’s death? I know a lot of her detractors celebrated her death by buying copies of “Ding-Dong! The Witch is Dead!”.

Re:The New Detective Jenny Designs

Thanks. I plan on doing the rest of them. I got several ideas for them. I'm also planning on redesigning the Kids of Hills Beach characters, as I was never satisfied with the designs as time went on. I'll also be redoing the KOHB Team Jenny designs to be more consistent with the normal designs.

Fox name change

20th Century Fox is now 20th Century Studios. Fox Searchlight Pictures is now just Searchlight Pictures. I assume Disney did this to distance it from Fox Corporation, which is still owned by the Murdochs (doesn’t help that one asset is Fox News). From 1933-1935, its predecessor was 20th Century Pictures, which had the monument and fanfare in its logo as well. Its merger with the bankrupt Fox Film (formed by William Fox in 1915) resulted in the 20th Century Fox brand.

TTG

So how did you come up with the storyline of Teen Titans Go! being part of a major crime ring? I think it's interesting.

Voices

Out of curiosity, how do you describe Tim, Chloe, Belle, Jenny, Sheldon Johnson, Jr., Tammy Jo Johnson, and Phil Stacker's voices?

--Trevor807 (talk) 18:49, 8 February 2020 (PST)

I’m at Texas Motor Speedway

Me and my family are watching the Daytona 500 on Big Hoss tomorrow (fun fact, Trump is attending the 500). I got a TMS hat that was unsold stock from 1997. Sat in a warehouse for 22 years.

--Trevor807 (talk) 14:59, 15 February 2020 (PST)

Pace car

My dad owns the pace car from the 2000 Daytona 500. The car has 2001 decals because it was used to promote that year's 500 in early 2001. The dash was signed by Dale Jarrett (who won the 2000 race).

--Trevor807 (talk) 04:08, 17 February 2020 (PST)

Single lugnut

The Next-Gen car will only have one lugnut per tire for 2021. Would it be another vetoed change?

Trevor807 (talk) 13:43, 2 March 2020 (PST)

Also

Tony Stewart is doing the Xfinity race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. I’m glad to see him back.

Trevor807 (talk) 09:28, 4 March 2020 (PST)

Katie

I came up with an interesting idea: Chloe Johnson plays basketball. And thus Katie was born.

Trevor807 (talk) 15:27, 4 March 2020 (PST)

Yaaaaaaaaaaas.

EijiZeBoi (talk) 16:32, 4 March 2020 (PST)

Mary Kay Bergman

So what inspired you to have Mary Kay Bergman voice Jenny until her suicide, and then be replaced by Tara Strong afterwards?

--Trevor807 (talk) 18:34, 7 March 2020 (PST)

Well

Tara was already active in 1993, having been into voice acting for a few years. But I like this direction. On a side note, Makayla's outfit was influenced by that of the character Ansi Molina from Welcome to the Wayne--in the Johnsonverse, Ansi was designed to look like a male version of Makayla as an in-joke for Detective Jenny fans, as both are voiced by Alanna Ubach (much like how the producers of Bob's Burgers named Kristen Schaal's character Louise as an in-joke for Detective Jenny fans). In Season 3 of that show, Tara could voice a character in a guest appearance.

Trevor807 (talk) 19:26, 7 March 2020 (PST)

Ideas?

What ideas do you have on how the Coronavirus outbreak affects Johnson? Also, some anonymous user maintains that the outbreak never happened in the Johnsonverse, and I know it isn't you, so it must be someone else. On a side note, I came up with Johnson doing a restored version of the Dollars Trilogy.

Trevor807 (talk) 13:05, 14 March 2020 (PDT)

Re:Larry

I wasn't exactly satisfied with the old designs. They looked way too amateurish, and I clearly colored and/or modified them in MS Paint. And I'm producing Larry as an animated web series one day. That's why I created the new characters for The Kids of Hills Beach to replace the original ones. The name "LJM" also sounded too close to the game publisher LJN (God knows why I did that). For example, Latty's surname is now Winston, not Molina.

Trevor807 (talk) 23:26, 28 March 2020 (PDT)

Re:The New Design

I took your criticism about the font color into account. Because I don't know how to change the font using CSS, I changed the transparent part of the page to make it brighter. It might take time to fully appear though.

Trevor807 (talk) 23:27, 13 April 2020 (PDT)

Question and fact

So who is Nathaniel Scott? Probably the author since that's the only one I can find. Also, for Solo, Christian Bale was the second choice to portray Tobias Beckett before they got Woody Harrelson.

Trevor807 (talk) 18:15, 16 April 2020 (PDT)

Chocodile's design

Chocodile sketch.jpeg
Chocodile sketch with shorts.jpeg

So which of these possible Chocodile designs do you prefer? I'm just torn on whether to give Chocodile shorts or not. Also, what does Larry look like?

Trevor807 (talk) 16:43, 20 April 2020 (PDT)

Cup points in the Johnsonverse

What were the points in the Cup Series in the Johnsonverse from 2014-2019?

Also why not do more on the lower series’s (BGN, SuperTruck, Dash Series, etc)? That can give a more complete look at NASCAR in this world.

So what do you think of the latest one?

Trevor807 (talk) 18:24, 30 April 2020 (PDT)

This stream

It’ll show all the projects Griff never finished. There’s also links to almost every car he painted in the description (the OMS cars outside of 1987 are in the descriptions of their respective videos).

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EzSF1UUxhHo

--Trevor807 (talk) 17:20, 11 May 2020 (PDT)

Re: Re: This stream

That’s Griff thinking outside the box, though it won’t happen if I do my own take on OMS. That’s right, I’m actually considering doing my own take on OMS, using all his what if’s, and some more (for example, what if Jeff Gordon stayed with Bill Davis?) I’ll need Windows 7 to use CCM, as well as Sony Begas for editing. I hope to license “Eight Bells” by Edd Kalehoff as its theme. The name I’m thinking of is “Start Your Engines!”. Griff would be credited for OMS, obviously.

Trevor807 (talk) 19:22, 11 May 2020 (PDT)

Re: Mother Poster

Fixed it. I'll eventually add the credits below the Mother logo.

Trevor807 (talk) 13:54, 17 May 2020 (PDT)

Re. Would You Be Interested in a Merger?

I got this Kennedy Racing (Start Your Engines!) timeline. I based it on the #64 Arby's Fans Team Ford from the 1998 Jayski paint scheme page. Maybe you can merge it with that. Maybe I'll do paint schemes if I get a laptop, as I like to work in my room (it's full of NASCAR diecasts on almost every wall; I have more diecasts than my dad's friend Danny did). Kenendy Racing is a two-car team with the #32 Tide car for Louise Kennedy, and the #64 Arby's car for her father and the current owner, Melvin Kennedy. It ran Fords from 1988-1997, Chevys from 1998-2006, and Toyotas from 2007 onward. The team started in 1988 after Roger Kennedy, an Arby's franchisee, acquired the #64 from Elmo Langley. It expanded to two cars in 2007 after the team acquired the #32 from the now-shuttered PPI Racing; its cars and equipment were cascaded to smaller teams. Louise ran in the Busch Series from 2004-2006. Kennedy's Arby's franchisees were represented from 1988-1997 due to a lack of outside sponsors, though after seeing Melvin's success, the Arby's company itself started sponsoring the car from 1998 onwards. Like the team from your timeline, Kennedy is renowned for its ingenuity. Melvin plans on retiring after the 2020 season; word is that he plans on having Landon Cassill replace him in the #64. There are also rumors that Kennedy plans on expanding to three cars in 2021; Daniel Suarez is most likely the top choice for the ride, and the number is rumored to be #0, as an homage to Melvin's friend Delma Cowart. As for Buschwacking, Melvin only does that on non-Cup tracks so he could get a taste of those tracks. As for "Start Your Engines", I'll consider merging it as well. Three timelines merged together.

Trevor807 (talk) 16:51, 20 May 2020 (PDT)

Alright, I'll merge it.

Trevor807 (talk) 16:58, 20 May 2020 (PDT)

Just so you know, I wasn't referring to the team. I was referring to the Kennedy Racing timeline. Also, what's the number PCR uses?

Trevor807 (talk) 17:26, 20 May 2020 (PDT)

Templates

You may have to provide some templates for me so I can paint them at a later date. There aren't any cars based on several of the cars listed, so we may have to improvise, though we could try to use the 2001 Intrepid for the 1999 and 2000 carsets. I'll also try to create graphics based on the broadcasters of the race.

Trevor807 (talk) 20:47, 20 May 2020 (PDT)

Re: Re: Templates

Don’t worry; I assure you, I still have that email.

Trevor807 (talk) 19:59, 22 May 2020 (PDT)

As a matter of fact, I plan on starting as soon as I get a new laptop (the plan is to get one on my birthday).

Trevor807 (talk) 20:07, 22 May 2020 (PDT)

Interesting stuff

John Andretti tested a Lincoln in 1996. There’s other facts in this link too:

https://www.reddit.com/r/NASCAR/comments/1py2t9/nascar_lincoln_1996/

Trevor807 (talk) 21:21, 22 May 2020 (PDT)

I’m in the process of painting Tim’s car for 1989. It’s green and white, and I’m planning on going Furniture Row and having few contingencies.

Trevor807 (talk) 09:44, 23 May 2020 (PDT)

Retirement

So when do Tim, Chloe, Belle and Jenny retire from NASCAR? Just curious.

Trevor807 (talk) 16:17, 24 May 2020 (PDT)

I assume the four are in their late 40s or early 50s. Tim and Chloe couldn't have been born after January 1970.

Trevor807 (talk) 16:25, 24 May 2020 (PDT)

49 at the end of the season. For reference, Kevin Harvick will be 47 at the end of the 2023 season (when his contract expires; I wouldn't be surprised if that's his retirement year). So after Manny Brown's retirement (I assume he'd be in his 90s now), who owns the team currently?

Trevor807 (talk) 16:32, 24 May 2020 (PDT)

Question

So what are Belle and Jenny's sponsors?

Trevor807 (talk) 19:10, 24 May 2020 (PDT)

Mid-week races

When we get to 1991 in Start Your Engines, how about we decide which races will be midweek races each year?

1988 scheme

Email me the scheme you made for 1988. Tomorrow I'll work on PCR's 1992 paint schemes. I don't want paint schemes to get old like the paint scheme run by Kurt Busch back in 2011 did.

Trevor807 (talk) 20:16, 25 May 2020 (PDT)

Re: Emails

The emails themselves were held in an outbox. Once I got around to updating my accounts settings on my Windows 10 computer, where I did the SYE paint schemes (I was too lazy to do this for over a year), they were all sent at once.

Trevor807 (talk) 17:38, 30 May 2020 (PDT)

Big news

Nashville Superspeedway will finally host a Cup race in 2021. Replacing one of the two Dover races.

Trevor807 (talk) 08:32, 3 June 2020 (PDT)

Maybe it’s because they’re trying to raise funds to renovate the Fairgrounds. Also, there are always mid-week races.

Trevor807 (talk) 15:17, 3 June 2020 (PDT)

The two Chinese flags

What do North and South China's flags look like?

Trevor807 (talk) 19:16, 3 June 2020 (PDT)

Re: Re: The two Chinese flags

Ah. So I'm guessing South China has Taiwan's government and Taiwan is a part of South China.

Trevor807 (talk) 19:20, 3 June 2020 (PDT)

Christopher Lloyd

Elaborate on “Christopher Lloyd died five years ago”.

Trevor807 (talk) 22:43, 12 June 2020 (PDT)

Re: Re: Christopher Lloyd

That’s alright. Coincidence that Lee played Dr. Wilbur Wonka in the 2005 adaptation. And I would love to see a Spaceballs sequel happen.

Trevor807 (talk) 22:46, 12 June 2020 (PDT)

More than 4 models in NR2003

Ryan wants there to be more than four, but I don't think it can be done. There's this link I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nr2003/comments/b6mf2w/more_than_four_4_car_bodies_in_a_series/

Though I'm uncertain as to whether it will even work at all.

Trevor807 (talk) 19:20, 11 July 2020 (PDT)

It depends. It could work, it could not. Who knows. We could loosen body rules to make the cars legal and since this is a game, we can balance the AI and make them all competitive. Maybe make the field bigger while we’re at it. Just imagine the possibilities.

I just asked this question on Sim Racing Design.

It’s possible, but it has to be done in winmip.

Two palettes of Chocodile in a tux

I made those so that the first one can be used for the Chocodile and Friends television series, as well as theme parks and the Johnson Cartoons opening logo for feature films, and the second one can be used for anniversaries. I hadn't drawn in a while, but I returned a few days ago. Haven't done new NR2003 cars as my dad had the idea to plug the PC into the widescreen TV upstairs so we can watch movies there. He could've used a DVD/Blu-ray player, though.

Chocodile tux 1.png
Chocodile tux 2.png

Trevor807 (talk) 11:05, 13 July 2020 (PDT)

June explanation

I made June this way in The Cool Adventures of Chocodile because I felt that it would be the single biggest crime the show could commit. Much like how The Last Jedi turned Luke from an optimistic hero into a Debbie Downer, the Cool Adventures equivalent would be transforming June from a sweet friend who often helped Chocodile into a disgusting, savage hunter who works with Solomon to try to kill Chocodile.

Trevor807 (talk) 12:55, 6 September 2020 (PDT)

Manufacturers

I didn’t come up with the idea of those manufacturers. Trevor did.

Except it's too many.

Trevor807 (talk) 03:16, 24 October 2020 (PDT)

Well we had 7 manufacturers join in 2019, and another 6 join in 2020.

The problem is that the addition of these extra manufacturers push it to overkill.

Trevor807 (talk) 05:01, 24 October 2020 (PDT)

But that’s the result of popularity. When something’s popular, a lot of people want to join.

Johnson's own people don't count. And surely you don't want to get too defensive.

Trevor807 (talk) 08:01, 24 October 2020 (PDT)

Taking too long

I get why you took too long. NR2003 could be a real bitch on more recent hardware. That’s coming from someone who doesn’t even own the game.

Let’s hope that it doesn’t take as long for the next race.

Maybe we can do one race a week.

2021

Why not keep the schedule at 78 races?

A COVID vaccine will definitely be ready by the season starts so why not keep the schedule at 78 races?

It's not just because of COVID. It's because it's simply impractical due to travel and cost. While there could be faster ways to travel in the future, for now, it would be a hassle simply getting ready from one race to the next in a shorter amount of time. Plus, how do you know if there's going to be a COVID vaccine before the season starts?

Trevor807 (talk) 06:20, 15 November 2020 (PST)

Also why not go more in-depth on the lower series’s like Busch, Trucks, ARCA, Dash Series, etc? It gives a more complete view of NASCAR in this TL.

Do you agree with me Trevor?

We never got around to it. Also, did you know that my dad owns the pace car from the 2000 Daytona 500? Its site is still up:

http://www.angelfire.com/ill/daytona500pacecar/pacecar.html

Trevor807 (talk) 09:11, 15 November 2020 (PST)

But I feel like doing the lower series’s gives a more complete view of NASCAR in this TL.

Again, as we told you time and time again, you're not in any authority to force us to do it.

Trevor807 (talk) 12:22, 15 November 2020 (PST)

I know, it’s just a option. I feel like just doing the Cup Series is incomplete. I know I can’t force you to do it but we can do over time. Slow but steady.

At least we can do the team/driver charts for the PrimeStar/Busch Series from 2016-2019?

STOP. NOW. --BNSF1995 (talk) 00:47, 10 December 2020 (PST)

Okay. I just get a little too ambitious.

Sim Racing Design

And now Sim Racing Design is private meaning I can’t go on there because I need a account and I’m banned. Doh!

Should have thought before you decided to be annoying and make multiple accounts.

Trevor807 (talk) 05:48, 10 December 2020 (PST)

Yeah.

I promise. I’m fully done with the edit wars. I mean it.

Ha, I say, Ha! I'll believe it when I see it! --BNSF1995 (talk) 19:43, 11 December 2020 (PST)

Trust me. I’m done.

Start Your Engines! schedule

Maybe you can put up the 2021 Start Your Engines! schedule.

Also I put up the pages for the Cup Series from 1992-2021 in Start Your Engines!.
